Ray Eschert founded the Ballantyne Breakfast Club in 2001. Under his leadership, the club has continued to be the premier source of information for the Ballantyne/South Charlotte area. Ray is the honorary Mayor of Ballantyne and in 2017 he was No. 25 on Charlotte Magazine's list of 50 Most Powerful People in Charlotte.
Ray serves on the Board of Directors for the Ballantyne Chapter of the Charlotte Chamber. He was a member of the Transportation/Roads Committee of 21, and served on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission.
Ray recently decided to assume a limited role in the Ballantyne Breakfast Club so he can turn his attention to South Charlotte Partners - an advocacy group for the area.
Victoria Nwasike is a Co-Chair of the Ballantyne Breakfast Club and responsible for operations and chairing community meetings.
She serves the community in a variety of ways, including as a member of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Planning Commission, an Ex Officio member of the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization and member of the School Leadership Team for Polo Ridge Elementary.
Victoria has a background in law (as an attorney) and economic development and has a consulting business.
Tim Morgan is Co-Chair of the Ballantyne Breakfast Club and assists with leadership, community relationships and dialog.
He previously served as a member of the CMS Board of Education for District 6, representing the South Charlotte area. He has also served on the Board of Park & Recreation Commissioners of Mecklenburg County. He has deep connections with city and county leaders due to his long history of political and social engagement.
Tim is an Education Consultant, focusing on school administration and curriculum development.
